Magazine Extras

Corrections and More Magazines!

Hey Geeks,

First, a great big thank you to all of our contributors, backers, and readers for helping us to make the launch of our magazine such a huge success! We have been blown away by the enthusiasm already exhibited about our first issue.

We have had word from a few readers and there are a handful of corrections we would like to note. The following errors were brought to our attention by Nathalie D.:

-On page 17, ‘I was desperate for at title’ should read, ‘I was desperate for a title’.

-On page 47, ‘So with 19 years of age’ should read, ‘So at 19 years of age’.

-Page 97 merchandiser is misspelled.

Also, we owe an apology to Ms. Kirsten Hey whose name on the Backer’s List appears as Kristen Hey. Kirsten, we are sorry for the mistake and we appreciate your patience and support!

We have also had word that the magazines are going FAST! We’ve stocked them in all Foyles Bookshops with Charing Cross carrying the largest stock and from what we’ve heard, they’re down to only a very few. We are currently working on a plan to issue a reprint although this may take us some time. We knew WE loved the magazine, but we had no idea you would love it THIS MUCH as well! Please bear with us, as soon as we can secure the appropriate funds to reprint, we will let you know!

In the meantime, don’t forget that you can log on http://issuu.com/geekedmagazine/docs/geeked_magazine_issue_one to download and read the entire first issue!

Thanks so much!

GEEKED xx

I have two names people can’t spell. I don’t know what my parents were thinking!

Awesome magazine, guys! Do you have plans to open subs/issue sales for the print issue from your website? I loved issue one, but would *really* love a print copy.

Hey Cat, there are print copies available at all Foyles shops (except the branch at Charing Cross which has run out) and in Tatty Devine, in Covent Garden. Also, we’re working on finding funds to offer a re-issue but that’s still in the works. Watch this space, we may have something else up our sleeves 😉

Cool – I’m nowhere near a Foyles (I’m in Nottingham – they’re almost all in London), so I’ll be looking forward to a wider circulation and/or website sales so I can get my mitts on the print version 🙂
